Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the AutoFocus mobile application and related services (together, the "Service") operated by AutoFocus (penmer) ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading or using AutoFocus, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use AutoFocus. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use AutoFocus only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use AutoFocus on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms.

3. Subscriptions (AF Pro)

AutoFocus offers auto-renewing subscriptions (monthly, yearly) and a non-renewing lifetime purchase for "AF Pro." Prices and durations are shown in the paywall inside the app before purchase.

• Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewing subscriptions renew at the same price and duration unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple ID Settings.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Trial extensions granted via the AutoFocus referral program add additional days to your subscription renewal date and do not affect other terms.

4. Content you create

AutoFocus takes photos and shoot replays on your device. You retain all rights to the content you create. We do not upload your photos or replays to our servers.

If you claim a public profile handle (e.g., autofocus.cam/u/yourhandle), your lifetime shot count, fastest lock time, and streak may be displayed publicly. You may request removal of your profile by emailing hello@autofocus.cam.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use AutoFocus for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the Service beyond what is permitted by law; (c) use another person's likeness without their consent; (d) claim a public handle that impersonates another person or is offensive.

6. Referral program

Referral codes may be shared with anyone. We reserve the right to invalidate codes used in a manner that appears fraudulent (including exceeding fraud caps described below). Trial extensions are granted at our discretion and may be revoked if abuse is detected.

7. Disclaimers

AutoFocus is provided "as is." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will AutoFocus (penmer) be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of AutoFocus. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be surfaced in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
